If, on the other hand, we interpret the propositions of the argument as subject-predicate propositions :
- a IS congruent to c. ( ' a ' is subject, and ' congruent to c ' is predicate).
- c IS congruent to b. ( ' c ' is subject, and ' congruent to b ' is predicate).
- Therefore, a IS congruent to b. ( ' a ' is subject, and ' congruent to b ' is predicate).
then we have a genuine syllogism.
