In this way molecules (and also crystals), but especially organisms, can best be interpreted as products of TOTALITY-GENERATING DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS.
In organisms (and also in some inorganic systems) we have to do with systems which find themselves in a state far (away) from thermodynamic equilibrium, which is the cause of their complex nature. This far-from-thermodynamic-equilibrium-state means that the system remains active in virtue of continual import and export of matter and energy.
